  愛は河だと言う人がいる、
  That drowns the tender reed
  若くて柔らかい芽をのみこんでしまう河だと。

  愛は鋭い刃物だと言う人がいる、

  魂から血を奪い去る刃物だと。

  愛は飢えだと言う人がいる、
  An endless aching need
  満たされることのない渇望だと。

  私は愛は花だと思う。
  And you, its only seed
  そしてその大切な種があなただ。

  傷つくことを恐れている心、
  That never learns to dance
  そんな心では楽しく踊ることはできない。

  目覚めることを恐れている夢、
